STITCH 'N' BITCH GROUP beginning Feb. 17, 2008 EVERY OTHER SUNDAY 3:30 TO 6:30PM I have had several requests for an evening knitting group and I've decided to take the plunge and form a Northeast Stitch 'n' Bitch Group, which I will be registering with the main headquarters. If the group is large enough, we will meet in front where the day care is (there will be no children present). Or, if we are few, we can stay in the barn and use the kitchen and shop. I will be requesting a $5.00 donation toward refreshments and coffee will be available. There is only one rule: bring your knitting or crochet (or you can knit for charity with some of the yarn here.) As we proceed, we can figure out whether we want munchies or pizza or what? I am pleased to have the company and I love having other yarn lovers around. Pass the word and join us whenever you can. I know how busy people can be with jobs and family.
CHILD CARE Please contact me if you are interested in a knit/crochet group which includes child care. I have the facilities for this (having a day care on the property) and I can hire someone to come in to care for the children. The cost would depend upon what the need is and what kind of response I get. If I have at least three or four children at $5.00 each per hour, it would be doable. Also, we would need a time that is convenient for all concerned.
